ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in conservation and ecology from UC Santa Barbara.

Ever since I was a little, I've had a passion for storytelling, whether that is through visual media or written words. Throughout my life, I have used my camera to capture the beauty I see around me, especially outdoors.

My interest in the environment started in high school, where I was inspired by climate issues and wildlife conservation. In college, I pursued a B.A., where I took courses in both environmental policy and science-based ecological courses.

I love using storytelling to capture the beauty and wonder that exists in nature, to connect people with nature, and to bring awareness to the problems it is facing. I believe connection is where we start in getting people involved with caring for and protecting the environment. I am inspired to use my apt for storytelling through science communication.
